Can Eco Web Hosting transfer or migrate my existing website?
Yes, we can! Free migration is included with all our web hosting and can be done from all control panels, including cPanel and Plesk, and for all software packages, including WordPress and Magento. Just purchase your new hosting package from us, fill out our Migration Request form, and our Support team will get in touch with you for further details. They’ll work with you to migrate your sites over from your current hosting company and make sure everything is running smoothly before they go live.
What’s the difference between Windows and Linux hosting?
Most websites will work smoothly on either platform, but Windows is necessary if you want to run ASP, ASP.NET, or .NET applications. Linux will run most scripts, programs, and applications that are commonly used to build websites, including WordPress, Joomla!, Drupal, and Magento.
Do you throttle resources or turn off websites if they get too busy?

Of course you can. You can set up Git for all your version control needs, and SSH is included as standard for each hosting package. You can also set up two-factor authentication or keypair authentication for your SSH access as well.
How do I get my free domain name?
Once you’ve purchased your annual package, you’ll get a free domain credit, which can be used on a .com, .net, .org, .info, .name, or .biz domain name. The credit is valid for one year from when you purchase the domain, and the domain will renew at the standard renewal price. What payment options do you provide?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal and PayPal subscriptions for our hosting packages. All prices are in pound sterling and do not include tax, which will be added at checkout based on your location.
